An inherited incomplete contemporary shell of a home, recently purchased by our client, needed an internal layering. We went about creating a much warmer space than the standard beach house aesthetic. The result is a diverse series of striking rooms, each unique but having a recognizable design DNA connecting them as a family of patently related spaces. We used natural timber as a consistent accent throughout and transformed the cavernous basement space into the ideal entertainer’s retreat. The owners affectionately termed this the ‘Legend Room’.
